Welcome to day 1 of the 3 day Jacked Runner challenge!
SUPER IMPORTANT:
If you perform the work over the next 3 days, you’ll have a personalized blueprint to run far and get jacked.
No joke!
You’re going to get clear on what your running goal is, build a simple training schedule, and calculate your target heart rate so that you don’t get hurt.
So I want you to commit to doing the work.
Ready to dive in?
Good! Let’s go!
First things first:
Just because you say you want to run more and build more muscle won’t make you a jacked runner.
You need to define what your goal is.
Like all good goals it should be time bound and specific.
Today is all about setting the direction you’re aiming for. You’re going to fill out a simple action sheet to set your goal.
To get started, please watch the 2 minute lesson below:
Just click this image and you’ll be able to watch the full video.
If you’re thinking of skipping this video DON’T.
(I’m serious – go back and watch it if you skipped!)
Now that you’ve watched the lesson, think about it this way:
Your goal is your north star. It’s where you’re heading. And your why keeps you motivated to do the work to get there.
The template we just filled out keeps your reasons for running in the front of your mind so you don’t forget, or make excuses.
That way you’re damn near guaranteed to make progress.
Your homework for today:
Use the template that I provided:
- Write down your goal
- Write down your why
Awesome – you’ve just laid down the foundation for running more and building your body… for becoming the person you want to be.
This is the first step in establishing a running routine that’ll get you across the finish line feeling fit and strong, not beat up and broken.
Tomorrow, you’ll dive into creating your schedule so that you know exactly what to do. It’ll help you stay consistent and committed.
The best part?
The template does 75% of the work for you.
But make sure you complete today’s homework first so you have a reason to build it.
I’ll see you tomorrow!
Jeremy
